Showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival the movie “Almost Christmas” has been picked up by distributor Anchor Bay and is set for release in the fall of 2013. A new just-in-time-for-Christmas horror flick will be release in the fall of 2013 titled “Krampus: The Christmas Devil”.

A new TV movie titled “Silver Bells” is wrapping up it’s final days of filming in and around Grand Rapids, MI this week.

The movie is being directed by Harold Cronk.

The Christmas movie is being produced in collaboration with the Salvation Army, and is expected to air on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) in December after a limited theatrical release.

Star Bruce Boxleitner has been keeping fans updated from the set with what little time he’s had since he’s in “just about in every scene.”

A big budget star-filled Christmas-themed feature is headed for theaters soon. Filming in England now and set for release later this year, The Christmas Candle will mark the film debut of Susan Boyle, the singing sensation from 2009 who launched a successful music career after a surprising performance on Britain’s Got Talent.

The makers of The Lorax, adapted from a Dr. Seuss book, have struck Seuss gold again by landing the project of making a new animated feature of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Sources speculate the project will hit theaters in 2016, right around the 50th anniversary of the animated television special of the same name that continues to live long in seasonal re-runs.
